The following assignments are for the entire week of 3/23/20 - 3/27/20
Reading:
- Workbook pgs. 42-46 (these wkbk pgs. go along with "A Difficult Decision")
- Read the story, "Grace for President" on textbook pgs. 406-425.
- ask students to summarize the story in their own words for you (this helps to understand how well they comprehended the story)
- Complete workbook pgs. 48-51 (these workbook pgs go with "Grace for President")
Math:
- Complete Lesson 3 - Analyze Picture Graphs pgs. 541-546
- Complete My Progress pgs. 547 & 548
- Complete Lesson 4 - Make Bar Graphs pgs. 549-554
Spelling:
-List 26 (uploaded as a PDF under the "Worksheet" tab)
- Write the words 3x each
- pyramid words (I have uploaded a blank pyramid words sheet under "worksheets," or they can use a regular sheet of notebook or plain white paper)
- Write a sentence for each word
- Put the words in ABC order
Grammar:
- I have uploaded a contractions worksheet under "worksheets" for the students to complete
Religion:
- The students will write a friendly letter to Jesus about their Communion Day. I will be uploading different templates for the students to use. They should first write a sloppy copy. After they complete their first draft, and it has been looked over, they can write their second draft. They can then write their good/final copy on one of the templates they have chosen. The students can bring this to school when we return. This letter should have 8 complete sentences, and it should include the following information:
What are you looking forward to?
Who will be there?
What will you do to prepare?
When will you be making your communion?
Are you ready to receive Jesus?
i-Ready:
- Continue with the Teacher Assigned Lessons from last week.
- Once those have been completed, continue on My Path
For Science and Social Studies, accounts have been created on Epic. The students can read the assigned stories and informational text. I will upload a PDF with instructions on how to get into our class.
(OPTIONAL) We have also created accounts on Khan Academy for Math. These lessons are more review and skill and drill. If you would like your child to work on these lessons, send me a Dojo message or an email and I will send you their username and password.
